Conditions of participation

The military nature of the MABS Symposia, although a non-classified conference, requires some control by the "MABS Executive Committee" as specified in paragraph 4 "Administration and General Control" of the <Terms of Reference>. This procedure has proven to be very effective in preserving the non-classified status of the conference and thus enabling and promoting a free and comprehensive exchange of information between participants.

Persons who have never participated in a MABS conference should proceed as follows:

	Persons from a country represented in the <MABS Executive Committee> should contact the representative of their respective country for further information, according to the list of the MABS Executive Committee.
	Persons from a country not represented in the <MABS Executive Committee> should contact the chairman of the MABS conference they intend to attend, e.g. <MABS 18>.

In both cases the national representatives or the concerned chairman will make a decision about participation in accordance with the specifications of the Terms of Reference of MABS , and if appropriate, in consultation with other members of the <MABS Executive.Committee>.
